OBD Unlock Service — Dodge FCA GPEC2 / GPEC2A (For DIY Tuners)
 

(For HP Tuners / DiabloSport / other binary OBD flashers — OBD write enabled only)

This service unlocks the ECU for OBD flashing so you can install and manage your own tunes with HP Tuners, Diablo, CTZ Flasher, or any compatible binary flasher. We do the unlock/virginize/checksum work — you do the tuning.

Two easy options
 

Option A — Send Us Your ECU (Ship-Out Unlock)
You send your factory ECU, we unlock it and return it to you ready for OBD flashing.
 

What we do

• Bench test OEM ECU on arrival.

• Perform OBD unlock / virginize and fix checksums needed for HP Tuners / Diablo / binary flashers.

• Return your original ECU ready for OBD writes.
   

What you must provide

• VIN, vehicle make/model/year, ECU part number (photo of label).

• Proof of ownership (photo of vehicle registration or plate + photo ID may be requested).

• Ship ECU using tracked shipping (we provide return label on paid jobs per selection).
   

Turnaround & notes

• Turnaround: (your turnaround time) after ECU receipt.

• You remain responsible for reprogramming immobilizer/BCM/TPMS if required after ECU swap unless you book those services.

• We do NOT perform or advise on tuning — this service only enables your flasher to write via OBD.
   

Option B — Purchase / Provide a Spare ECU (Zero Vehicle Downtime)
You buy or provide a compatible spare ECU. We unlock the spare and return it to you ready to install — no downtime for your car.
 

What we do

• Verify part number compatibility.

• Unlock/virginize and correct checksums for OBD flashing.

• Return the unlocked spare ECU to you; you install and tune.
   

What you must provide

• Confirm OEM part number or ask us to source a matching unit (additional fee).

• VIN & vehicle details for compatibility checks.
   

Turnaround & notes

• Service begins when spare ECU is received.

• Spare ECU must be OEM or verified compatible — mismatched units may not run the vehicle.
   

What the service DOES include

• OBD unlock / virginization for GPEC2 / GPEC2A ECUs.

• Checksum correction and other patches required so HP Tuners / Diablo or binary flashers can write via OBD.

• Return shipping (options: merchant-paid return label or customer-paid shipping).
   

What the service DOES NOT include

• We do not create or supply tune files.

• We do not perform tuning, datalogging, or tuning support. This is a technical unlock only for DIY tuners.

• We do not guarantee compatibility with every aftermarket flasher — final compatibility depends on your flasher/tool version and ECU part number.
   

Security & fraud protection

• We may request proof of vehicle ownership before unlocking/returning ECUs.

• If customer supplies their own shipping label, we’ll document it; providing the label does not transfer liability if fraud is suspected.

• We reserve the right to pause service and cooperate with law enforcement if fraud is suspected.
