The GPEC2 Tuner by Custom Tunez gives vehicle owners and automotive professionals an easy-to-use platform for reading, identifying, backing up, tuning, and flashing supported Continental GPEC2 engine control modules.

Connect through OBD, securely read your vehicle's calibration, make supported adjustments, and write the calibration back using the same application.

What You Can Do

READ YOUR ECU

Read the supported ECU calibration directly through the vehicle's OBD connection.

Each read is integrity-checked before being accepted, helping prevent an incomplete or corrupted read from being used for a subsequent flash.

Your original calibration is automatically retained as a backup.

ADJUST SUPPORTED VEHICLE PARAMETERS

An easy-to-use interface provides access to supported calibration parameters without requiring traditional binary editing software.

Available functions may include:

• Rev Limiter — Adjust supported Drive and Park/Neutral engine-speed limits
• Speed Limiter — Adjust the vehicle speed-limiter setting where permitted
• Exhaust Sound / Burble — Adjust supported exhaust-sound characteristics and duration where permitted
• MDS / Cylinder Deactivation — Configure supported cylinder-deactivation operation where legally permitted
• Additional Calibration Options — Availability depends on vehicle, application, and intended use

Not every feature is available for every vehicle or jurisdiction.

Adjustments can be made as often as you like on your licensed vehicle.

SCAN & CLEAR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES

Run a diagnostic scan directly through the application to see any stored trouble codes on the supported ECU.

Review what's present, then clear stored codes once the underlying condition has been addressed — no separate scan tool or shop visit required.

Diagnostic scanning and clearing is intended for legitimate diagnostic and maintenance purposes. Clearing a stored code does not repair the underlying condition, and codes will return if the condition is still present.

FLASH YOUR CALIBRATION

Write supported calibrations directly to the GPEC2 through the included flashing hardware.

The platform verifies compatible ECU information and calibration data before beginning supported programming operations.

STOCK BACKUP & RESTORE

Your original ECU calibration is retained when the vehicle is first read.

Need to return to the original calibration? Select the original backup and flash it back to the ECU.

Compatibility is determined by ECU type and calibration, not simply vehicle year/model.

ECU ACCESS REQUIREMENTS

No unlock service required. Supported 2011–2014 GPEC2 applications are programmed directly through the vehicle's OBD connection — there is no mail-in unlock, no ECU swap, and no security-gateway bypass hardware needed.

Custom Tunez does not authorize the removal or disabling of catalytic converters, oxygen-sensor monitoring, evaporative-emissions systems, emissions-related diagnostic functions, or other legally required emissions-control equipment.

Users are responsible for ensuring that vehicle modifications and calibrations comply with all laws and regulations applicable to the vehicle and its location.
